Position: Sales Team

​The Dragon Forge Experience is looking for a driven sales associate! This position will fulfill a role at the Carolina Renaissance Festival. We are looking for someone who is passionate about art and can convey that passion to customers in a clear and concise manner. Former sales experience preferred.

Our experience driven forge caters to people looking to live some of the magic of being a Forged in Fire Champion as well as guests interested in forging handcrafted souvenirs that will last a lifetime.

The sales associate is a self-starter who can interact with guests and entertain. They should be outgoing, effective speakers and performers. Each person who comes in the forge should have an opportunity to say yes to crafting a beautiful piece. Cash tips are paid out daily.

• The NC Renaissance Faire runs from October 4th to November 22nd every Saturday and Sunday.  ​

• Sales people will make $15 per hour.

• This is a not a salary position, so Sales people must show to be paid.

• Training: There will be a set training day for new staff. All staff must attend. This will give us an opportunity to set our expectations as well as educate the sales team on products, pricing and background.

• Clothing: All Staff will be required to be in full period clothing for the duration of the work day. Outfits are subject to fair review.

• Sobriety: all Staff must remain show up sober and remain sober throughout the work day. We have a zero tolerance policy for alcohol and drug usage during work hours due to the nature of our work and insurance policy. 

• Legal papers: All Staff will be considered contractors and will fill out a 1099 form.
